David K. Lung
President
Mr. Lung has had extensive experience in the development, design,
and implementation of large-scale space segment program. Prior to
joining Orbital Network Engineering, Inc., he was the Director, Deputy
Program Manager of the GOES meteorological satellite program at Space
Systems/Loral and was also the Systems Engineering Manager for the
Lockheed Martin A2100 commercial communications spacecraft.
Thomas C. Leisgang
Vice-President
Mr. Leisgang co-founded Orbital Network Engineering, Inc. to be systems
solution providers and "middle-ware" integrators, specializing
in the application of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) technology to
our solutions. Prior to founding Orbital Network Engineering Inc,
Mr. Leisgang held numerous Project Management positions at Space Systems/Loral
and Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space. He led in the application
of COTS based large scale systems development solutions were applied
to unique applications which resulted in cost effective solutions
to complex systems problems. He has been lead systems/project engineer
in numerous hybrid technology (hardware and software) development
programs for mission critical applications.
Scott R. Sawyer, Ph.D.
Vice President
Dr. Sawyer co-founded Orbital Network Engineering, Inc. to be systems
solution providers and "middle-ware" integrators, specializing
in the application of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) technology to
our solutions. Dr. Sawyer was a key member of the technical team on
the GOES meteorological satellite program at Space Systems/Loral.
He also served as the lead of the Autonomy Integrated Product Development
Team at the NASA Ames Research Center developing autonomous flight
software for the New Millennium Program Deep Space 1 (DS1) mission.
